Why consume organic tea or herbal tea?

It is free of pesticides and chemicals that can be used in conventional farming methods. It should be noted that plants are very rarely washed before being consumed.
Organic farming practices are better for the environment and help preserve our planet's biodiversity.

How can I ensure the quality of the tea I buy?

At each stage, the products must meet the strictest requirements to be included in our collections; quality controls are systematic. Our teas are shipped continuously throughout the year and are perfectly packaged to protect them from air, light, and humidity. This applies to natural teas and herbs, as well as to flavored teas and infusions.

How can I tell if the tea I'm buying is authentic?

Research the specific type of tea you are interested in and familiarize yourself with its appearance, aroma, and taste. At Ascenbio, all our plants are given the utmost care and come from organic farms, often directly from the producer. Our products are prepared by hand in our workshop by our dedicated team.

Can I get samples before larger purchases?

When you place your first order, samples from our range will be included in the shipment so you can enjoy our products.

How should I store my tea once I've received it?

Store your tea in a cool, dry place, away from light, moisture, and strong odors. Tea should be kept in an airtight container to preserve its flavor and aroma.

How long will my tea last?

The shelf life of tea can vary depending on the type of tea and how it is stored.

Just like coffee, teas and herbal teas are non-perishable products, meaning they can be consumed even after their best-before date (BBD). However, their freshness and aromas can degrade over time. It is therefore important to store them correctly at home. In general, teas that have undergone greater oxidation keep better and longer: teas such as green and white teas have a shorter shelf life of 12 to 18 months, while teas such as black and oolong teas can last for several years (24 to 36 months).

Pu-Erh teas are like red wine and improve with age.

How do I prepare my tea, herbal tea?

Read the preparation instructions on the product labels or on the product page of our store (dosage, water temperature and brewing time),

For the connoisseurs, prefer very soft water and a neutral filter.

Can you steep tea multiple times?

It is even recommended to reinfuse the leaves of our teas several times to fully enjoy their aromas!

80% of the theine is released during the 1st infusion.

Overall, teas can be reused up to 4 times and herbal teas/infusions 3 times. Product-specific information is available directly on the product page.

Depending on the nature of the plant, the intensity gradually fades.

How to decaffeinate your tea?

We've seen that tea can be steeped multiple times and that it quickly releases caffeine within the first few seconds of contact with water.

1. Prepare your tea as usual, simply modifying the steeping time to 30-45 seconds.

2. Discard the first infusion.

3. Reuse your leaves following the usual preparation guidelines.

This way, your tea will have lost over 80% of its caffeine.

What are the recommendations for frozen preparations?

All our infusions (teas, rooibos, herbal teas, hibiscus) can be served iced and according to your taste. Preparation tips are available on the product pages of our shop. In most cases, simply let them infuse at room temperature or in the refrigerator for several hours.
Before tasting, you can add fresh mint leaves and/or honey to the drink.

What to do in case of an anomaly?

Each shipment is weighed and checked before dispatch. If, despite this, products do not correspond to your order, please accept our apologies for this error and contact our team to find the best solution

How do I return an item?

You have 14 days from delivery to return an item at your expense in its original packaging, in perfect condition, suitable for resale, unused, and with all possible accessories.

How do you secure online payment?

Payment on the Ascenbio website complies with the PCI data security standard, client data encryption and supports 3D Secure payments.

This is an additional layer of security for online credit and debit card transactions. It adds an authentication step for online payments by redirecting the user to the card issuer's domain, then returning to the online store's domain to complete the payment.

What to do if my online payment is refused?

If your payment method is declined and you are using a valid Mastercard, Visa, or American Express credit card, please contact your bank for assistance.

What is the delivery time?

Once payment has been made, your shipment will be processed within 24 hours. To this, you should add an average delivery time of between 1 and 2 working days for deliveries in France, and 3 to 4 days for other countries depending on the distance.

Is it possible to modify the delivery address if incorrect?

Changing the address after order validation and payment is possible under certain conditions:

- Contact us immediately

- The order has not yet left our workshop

Otherwise, you will have to wait for the order to be returned by the carrier and for the products to be refunded upon receipt at our workshop.

What happens if my tea arrives damaged?

If your tea arrives damaged, please make a note of it directly with the delivery person and contact us to find the best solution together.

We are actively looking for premises to support our growth and welcome our clients

What to do if a package is returned to sender by the carrier?

Entering your phone number and/or email address during the order process allows us to maximize the information and alerts the carrier provides when the package arrives at the delivery agency.

If, despite these alerts, the package is not collected by the customer within 7 days, it will be returned to us.

Upon your request, we can redeliver the package or refund the products. Additional redelivery fees will be at the customer's expense.
