Ethical production, from field to cup!

At Ascenbio, we aim to offer products rich in flavour, as ethical and responsible as possible. And since our vision doesn't stop at production, we do everything we can to reduce the environmental impact of every action.

We have already opted for compostable and biodegradable bags, made from GMO-free corn starch.

In addition to the bags, we also offer reusable metal tins!

Our organic black and green teas

Ascenbio offers two pure teas: refreshing Sencha green tea and the fuller-bodied Gunpowder.

As for black teas, you can choose from six different high-quality teas, such as Pu-erh from Yunnan, Indian Jamguri Assam tea with malty notes, or organic Oolong, which is lightly oxidized and roasted.

Tea vs. herbal tea: what's the difference?

Teas and herbal teas are often confused. What exactly is the difference between these two drinks?

Tea is made from the leaves of the tea plant, a shrub from which tea leaves are harvested. These are then fermented and oxidized to different levels, creating the variety of flavors found from one tea to another.

Herbal tea, on the other hand, is a hot drink made from infusing all sorts of plants, seeds, leaves, or flowers other than tea leaves.
