    Tasting notes and information

    • Preparation

      Presented in bulk, this infusion is made of cut lemongrass leaves, ready to be infused in simmering water to release all their aromas and benefits.

      For a hot infusion,

      • Take 3g (equivalent to one teaspoon) for 30cl, infuse in water (ideally filtered) preheated to 90°C for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
      • Water that is too hot or an infusion that is too long can significantly alter the original taste of your drink.

      For a cold infusion,

      • Also infuse 3g for 30cl of room temperature water for 60 to 90 minutes, or
      • Let infuse overnight in your refrigerator to enjoy the next day.

      Our organic cut and dried lemongrass can be used as an herbal tea, in cooking, or to season dishes.

      Organic lemongrass can be consumed at any time. Since it does not contain theine, this plant has no contraindications as an herbal tea. You can enjoy a good lemongrass infusion before bed, without it disturbing your sleep.

      > An ideal infusion to integrate into your cooking:

      Lemongrass is also a plant widely used in cooking worldwide. In Asia, this plant is used in many Thai, Indian, or Vietnamese dishes such as kaeng pa. Lemongrass is also used in Morocco to accompany green mint tea.
      Lemongrass can be used in marinades or in your meat or poultry broths. It provides a light, subtly acidic citrus aroma that makes all the difference in cooking.
