      Classic Infusion: Infuse one teaspoon of the herbal tea in hot water (90°C) for 7 to 10 minutes. This allows the plants, especially fennel and nettle, to fully release their active ingredients beneficial for lactation.

      Adding Honey or Lemon: For a touch of sweetness or acidity, you can add a spoonful of honey or a squeeze of lemon juice to your infusion. This will also enhance the soothing and digestive properties of the herbal tea.

      Infusion with Plant-Based Milk: For a more comforting version, add a little plant-based milk (such as almond or coconut milk) after infusing. This gentle and creamy blend is perfect for a relaxing break during the day or in the evening.

      For a hot infusion,

      • Take 3g (the equivalent of 2 teaspoons) for 30 cl, infuse in water (ideally filtered) preheated to 90°C for approximately 8 minutes.
      • Water that is too hot or an infusion that is too long can significantly alter the original taste of your drink.

      For a cold infusion,

      • Infuse 3 to 4g for 30 cl of room temperature water for 60 to 90 minutes, or
      • Let it infuse overnight in your refrigerator to enjoy the next day.

      > When to start drinking a galactagogue herbal tea like Feuilles Lactée?

      It is recommended to start drinking galactagogue herbal teas from the first days after childbirth, when milk production is being established. However, some mothers prefer to start drinking the tea a few days before birth to prepare their bodies and promote a rapid milk let-down. Drinking 2 to 3 cups a day can help stabilize lactation.

      > Duration of use and when to stop:

      Our organic Feuilles Lactées herbal tea can be consumed throughout motherhood, during the breastfeeding period. We recommend drinking it mainly during the first months of breastfeeding, when your body is still regulating itself. You can then gradually reduce your consumption.
