    • Preparation

      For a hot infusion,

      • Take 3g (about one teaspoon) for 30cl, infuse in water (ideally filtered) preheated to 90°C for approximately 8 minutes.
      • Water that is too hot or an infusion that is too long can significantly alter the original taste of your drink.

      For a cold infusion,

      • Infuse 3g for 30cl of water at room temperature for 60 to 90 minutes, or
      • Let it infuse overnight in your refrigerator to enjoy it the next day.

      Nilgiri tea is one of the black teas primarily used in the making of Masala chai. This drink, originating in India 5,000 years ago, is a blend of spices, herbs, and tea, steeped in milk.
      While various teas can be used, Nilgiri tea, with its rich yet not overly strong flavor, is one of the most popular black teas for Masala Chai.

      You can enjoy it after a classic infusion, or create your own Masala chai by blending your favorite spices. Cinnamon, clove, ginger, chocolate, or cardamom – flavor your Masala chai to your liking. This way, you can benefit from the virtues of all these spices in a warm drink with multiple flavors.
