    • Preparation

      Depending on its preparation and brewing method, it can also release notes of nuts, fruits, or flowers. This richness of flavors is due to the composition of Sencha green tea. It is rich in polyphenols, fatty acids, amino acids, and essential oils.

      The preparation of Sencha green tea also affects its flavor: A longer or hotter infusion will result in a more or less bitter taste. Hence the importance of carefully controlling the water temperature.

      For a hot brew,

      • Use 3g (equivalent to one teaspoon) per 30cl, infuse in water (ideally filtered) preheated to 75°C for approximately 3 minutes.
      • Water that is too hot or an infusion that is too long can significantly alter the original taste of your drink.

      For a cold brew,

      • Infuse 3g per 30cl of room temperature water for 60 to 90 minutes, or
      • Let it infuse overnight in your refrigerator to enjoy the next day.

      This organic Sencha green tea is grown in China using traditional Japanese methods. It is made by steaming the leaves, shaping them, and then drying them. It is a refreshing and invigorating tea that is perfect for drinking throughout the day.

      The energizing effects of organic Sencha green tea are gentler than coffee but last longer. Theine/caffeine, gradually released into the body over approximately 6 hours, promotes concentration and improves memory. Thus, organic Sencha green tea is ideal for stimulating the senses while being gentle on your body.
