Recipe: Homemade Peach Iced Tea

An Summer Delight

35 degrees in the shade, the weather is beautiful, but above all, it's hot. Your energy is at its lowest, and you're wondering how to survive this sweltering afternoon. To cope with it, there's no secret: you need to stay well hydrated!
However, water often lacks appeal, and classic drinks can sometimes taste bland. But luckily, we have the solution to quench your thirst: iced peach tea! Refreshing, deliciously fruity, and easy to prepare, this homemade beverage satisfies the whole family.
Do you doubt it? We'll change your mind!

Simple Iced Peach Tea Recipes

We're going to share two peach tea recipes with you:

  • A classic infusion;
  • An flavored black tea infusion.

You don't need to be a kitchen whiz to make them. The recipes are delicate and very simple.

Ingredients

For the first recipe, you only need two ingredients:
20g of peach-infused tea and 1 L of filtered water, preferably

Preparation

There are many peach-flavored tea products currently available on the market. Brands offer a wide range of choices, and the famous "peach" flavor is a summer must-have.
However, some brands neglect the origin and benefits of their products.

For a quality drink, we recommend our Summer Peach Organic infusion, entirely natural and 100% organically farmed.

Eager to offer a fruity balance, our product is a clever blend of flavors that highlights peach, accompanied by notes of apple, rosehip, white hibiscus, and sweet blackberry leaves. Like delicious iced mint tea, this beverage offers numerous benefits.

To prepare the iced tea, infuse 20 g of this blend in 1 L of room temperature water for two hours.

If you want to consume it faster, take 4g and infuse it in 30cl of hot, but not boiling, water. A temperature that is too high can degrade and alter the flavors.

Add ice cubes and enjoy!

Recipe for Flavored Iced Black Peach Tea

For the second homemade iced peach tea recipe, we present a gourmet recipe that only takes a few minutes to prepare. The idea is to infuse black or green tea before adding peach syrup, some fresh fruit, and ice cubes.

Ingredients

  • 1 L of filtered water
  • 20 g of black or green tea
  • 4 spoons of peach syrup
  • 1 cup of diced peaches
  • ½ cup of red berries (raspberries, currants, etc.)

Note: You can replace the syrup with powdered sugar.
If you don't want a sweet taste, put a few drops of peach flavoring instead of syrup and sugar.

Preparation

Heat 500 ml of water and pour it over the black tea. Then add 500 ml of cold water and let it infuse for 2 to 3 minutes before removing the black tea to avoid bitterness. If you are using green tea, let it infuse for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the peach syrup or powdered sugar and mix everything before letting it cool.
Once cold, add the peaches and red berries.
Taste the mixture and add sugar if necessary.

Serve with ice cubes and enjoy!

Why choose iced peach tea?

Iced peach tea is a real alternative to commercial products for 3 reasons:

100% natural and healthy

Everyone knows the famous "iced tea," but few people pay attention to the ingredient list, which often contains additives, processed sugar, and products that can be harmful to health.
Iced tea is a refreshing drink to consume at will. It is a detox drink that helps your immune system function properly by keeping it hydrated and helping to eliminate toxins from the body.
In homemade iced teas:

  • No coloring
  • No added sugar
  • No preservatives
  • No processed products
  • Just organic, healthy, and tasty.

Economical and sustainable

On average, a liter of commercial iced peach tea costs around €3. Homemade iced tea, on the other hand, costs only a few cents. With 100g of tea, it's possible to make more than 10 liters of beverage.

Fun and simple

Finally, preparing cold tea is often synonymous with conviviality, especially when it's made with family. Children get involved and discover that it's possible to drink a delicious and gourmet beverage without having to consume commercial products.
