  • How to use our organic Christmas spice blend?

    While primarily intended for infusing into mulled wine, our organic Christmas spice blend can be used in many ways, incorporated into cookie dough or even gingerbread.

    But the best way to enjoy all the flavors of this product is to infuse the spices in wine. Both flavorful and comforting with its warmth, mulled wine is an essential Christmas drink.

    To make the best mulled wine for your family and friends, Ascenbio offers a complete blend of traditional Christmas spices, in a 100% organic product.

    Some tips for making your Alsatian mulled wine,

    • Over a low heat, simmer 75cl of organic Alsatian Pinot Noir for a few minutes without boiling it. The alcohol will gradually evaporate.
    • Reduce the heat, and add 100g of sugar, 12g of the Christmas spice blend, 2 peeled oranges cut into quarters, and the zest of 1 lemon.
    • Over a very low heat, cook for a minimum of 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • Finally, strain and serve hot. Enjoy!

    Tip: For the alcohol-free version, simply use organic grape juice instead of Pinot Noir.
